Here is the College setup, I will eventually upgrade to the Logitech Performance wireless mouse. What is seen in the picture:
27" iMac
11.6" Macbook Air
Blackberry Tour
PS3 Slim
Xbox 360 Slim
Picture taken with iPhone 4
Through the door seen is my bathroom and right behind me is my bed and closets. Pretty cozy room but I think I have positioned everything to make the best of it.
EDIT: I just hooked my iMac up to my tv to play movies/shows etc. on but I ran into one problem. I cannot turn my iMac display off and keep my tv on. If anyone knows how to do this please let me know asap!

D) Change the remote- no offense, but this remote needs a few more buttons, considering it may drive a media hub.
Well, then you don't understand Apple's magic. That's precisely where
they are good at: make complicated things simple.
It's like a Sony TV remote control compared to others : when you use it, you find everything else too much complicated...

Still satisfied with my dermashot. It really hasn't collected much dust. If your on the wall still about a silicon case, check it out.
Bill
Thanks Bill - I just got mine in the mail today.
You said the screen protector isn't great and I've decided to not even use a screen protector now and go naked and just use the Dermashot cover to protect the back. It looks really great, will pick up my 32GB IPT4 before the weekend.

Final Cut express strips out a lot of features people won't need unless they are doing some pretty heavy lifting. I use Final Cut Pro (and have since 1.0) but for the type of editing I do here at work (small TV station) Final Cut Express would work just fine. I just use what they give me 8-).
Pro takes more video formats. It has a few other tools, I think.
It's basically designed so that if you really are a hobbyist with an HDV camcorder you really won't notice a difference between the 2 since the extra things FCP has are things you'd never use anyway.
Pretty sure FCE doesn't support 24fps, which is kinda a problem for film editing, and an increasingly bigger problem for other work as 24fps gets used more. IIRC, it doesn't have stuff like the color scopes or audio mixer either. The main difference is the suite though.
Thanks. It seems to be what I need. I'm a photographer who does the occasional video. I don't want to make video the main part of my business, just a complement. A $1000 suite is overkill. I'd be happy to pay $300 though for just Final Cut Pro or $200 for a new Final Cut Express. Fingers crossed. :)

Well...at least someone from MSNBC agrees with me. :p
In Libya, West showcases new weapons for sale
Potential buyers from India to Brazil get to see Europe, US jets in action http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/42420553/ns/world_news-mideastn_africa/
I woulda thought the Middle East is most interested, but I suppose any emerging markets is fair game! :D

Thats crazy! no way do Computers (outside of Apple) overlap ALL THE TIME.
Of course computer lines overlap. Check the other online stores, and not the apple online store every 5 minutes and you would know this. Think about it, they almost have to! How many different models does Dell or HP sell at any given moment? How many choices does one need to narrow down? You can customize something like 11-12 machines on other sites, that are all very comparable, IMO

I would laugh (because I'm mean like that) if the iMac 23" or iMac with Conroe took a long time to come out. So many of us MBP lovers have been waiting for Merom, and to see others squirm like us... muah hahaha

They could have simplified the whole process in the following way:
(blah blah blah)
Both sound more logical and intuitive than this.
You assume that the method described here is/will be the ONLY way to do this.
How many different ways can you create a new folder on a hard drive? I can think of three without even trying.
I guess that's way easier than dragging it to the trash?
Dragging an application to the trash doesn't delete all the associated files littering your Library, or hidden files, or…

Great ad. When they can't compete on specs Apple should try to use fuzzy math (sorry, logic) to convince people that there is more to their products. That's the only way for Apple to keep the profit margin.

so basically they are telling us the only difference is that it is faster lighter and thinner and we should buy a new one for that. O ya we got a back camera that is useless to 99% of us and a front for facetime which again almost no one uses.

Im not really holdng my breath.
Sales and figures
Leopard pitch
iPod updates (excluding Nano)
iLife/iWork updates (Lasso?)
Mac Pro updates
Display updates
I think thats it. Then further down the line...say April/May/June, we'll get iTV, iPhone, MBP/MB updates etc. I feel a Leopard release coming on at WWDC. iPod refreshes and more iTunes content in october and then Merry Christmas to all.

What are you talking about? iTMS not generating profit? Geez, check your facts!
You are the one in need of fact checking. Jobs has said in a number of interviews that iTMS will generate enough money to basically break even. iTMS is there to sell iPods, not to make a profit.

This year better be good!
It's all gone a bit 1984.
"The first 30 years were just the beginning.............NOW WE TAKE CONTROL!"
*cue troops blocking off all transport routes and closing down all forms of communication as Steve Jobs consolidates power*
The next millenia will belong to the racially pure nerdy 30-something urban professional.
Sorry, I've just read "The Plot Against America" :o

No the E207WFP 20 is 1650x1050.
I advocate the 2007FP 20 1600x1200 for only $359.20 (http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19&sku=320-4687). That extra 150 verticle pixels is very helpful.
Dell really are fleecing their none US customers:
20" 2007FP: 311
24" 2407WFP: 566
20" 2007WFP: 401
30" 3007WFP: 1,365
People here are always raving about Dells low prices here, but I really dont think they're that cheap at all (in the UK) - unless you buy something with very old hardware that is.

If you guys can't differentiate between the use of "application" or "program" and "app store" vs "appstore" then I'm clearly wasting my time haha.

Consistency is "cool" and all...but I'm one of these weird people who like traditional file structures, trashcans, mice, keyboards...ya know, all that old foggie stuff;) And for the love of Caprica 6, please don't let this be a hint to future touchscreen Macs. I already get OCD when my iPad/iPhone looks like the windows of a school bus.

so running things like itunes and iphoto, and surfing the web, things are fine?
I also have the terminal going with 6 tabs, each running folding on another machine. I worried about iTunes because I had heard that it took quite a bit of cpu, but not for me it doesn't seem to have any effect on folding.
